Information: Prep Gone Bad made his long awaited return to face Soldja on March 9. He managed to gain an upset victory over his cousin after nailing his new finishing move, the Final Exam. Although he has been missing in action for quite some time, the Prep is back and this time he means business! As an up-and-coming star in the Shootfight/TV Title ranks, this young kid has had those titles ripped away from him on more than one occasion. In July of 2003, Prep got the luck of the draw in the Shootfght Title Gauntlet Match as the last participant, but after a modified Angle Slam from Jesus Christe, lost the match. Then in April 2004, he got his rematch. Announced as as #1 contender to the vacant Shootfight Title, he and Soldja battled in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Soldja eventually won the match, but after reviewing the tape, PGB managed to make Soldja tap on more than one occasion, but the ref didn't see it. Again, a chance was given to Prep, this time for the TV Title. While battling with Joker in the four corners match, Lethal DJ managed to make Gooch tap out to the Lethal Injection and win the gold! Although scheduled for a Shootfight Title shot at Disposable Teens, PGB has recently broken his ankle, causing him to be out of action for a few weeks. All of us here in the FyF wish Prep Gone Bad a quick and speedy recovery and hope to see him make his return next month at Undisputed 2! |
